Congratulations to the 2017 Student Employee of the Year Yadimir Eduardo Mendoza!

2017 Student Employee of the Year

Lab Assistant at the Community Learning Center (CLC), Yadimir has been described by his supervisors as reliable, knowledgeable, and kind. According to MCC Instructor Elizabeth Clarke, “The students look for him when he is not there and ask for him often. This is the greatest testament to his leadership in the lab because it demonstrates to us that the students see him as an important partner and support in their success.” Yadimir received his Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration in May 2017. In the fall of 2017 he will pursue a certificate in personal training, along with beginning classes at California State University San Marcos. He was also recently promoted to Instructional Aide at the CLC where he will continue to make positive contributions in working with students and community members.
